Getting Started with QuestStream

This quick setup takes just a few minutes and helps personalize QuestStream for your family's needs. Don't worry - you can always change these settings later!

Your family was automatically created during registration, and you've already configured your regional settings, content packs, and privacy preferences in the wizard. Now let's add your kids!

1. Navigate to My Children:

   From your parent dashboard, click "My Children" in the sidebar

2. Click "Add Child" button:

   You'll see it in the top-right corner or center if no children exist yet

3. Enter child information:
   • Name: Your child's first name or nickname
   • Date of Birth: Used for age-appropriate quest filtering
   • PIN: 4-8 digit code for secure profile access
4. Save and repeat:

   Add all your children (up to 50 per family!)

Each template includes default XP and coin rewards that you can customize when assigning to your children.

1. Choose assignment method:
   • Quick Assign: My Children → Click child's "Assign Quest" button
   • Template Browser: Quest Templates tab → Browse and assign
   • Dashboard: Use the quick assign widget on main dashboard
2. Select a quest template:

   Start simple: "Make Your Bed" or "Feed the Pet" for younger kids

3. Customize (optional):
   • Adjust XP and coin rewards
   • Modify the description for your specific situation
   • Set a due date if needed
4. Assign to your child:

   Click "Assign" and the quest appears in their inbox immediately!

1. Navigate to Rewards:

   From parent dashboard, click "Rewards" in sidebar

2. Click "Add New Reward":

   This opens the reward creation form

3. Fill in reward details:
   • Name: "30 min screen time", "Choose dinner", "Stay up 30 min late"
   • Description: Explain what they get
   • Price: How many coins it costs
4. Add multiple rewards:

   Create a variety at different price points

Settings → 9 tabs with comprehensive controls:
