1. Service Description

QuestStream is a gamified task management platform designed for families with children. The service allows parents to:

• Create and manage family accounts with child profiles
• Assign tasks ("quests") to children with rewards (XP and coins)
• Track quest completion and approve submissions
• Manage a virtual reward shop for children to redeem earned coins
• Monitor progress through achievements and leveling systems

QuestStream is provided by Golem15 Sp. z o.o. ("we," "us," "our"), a company registered in Poland.

2. Eligibility and Account Creation

2.1 Age Requirements

• Parent accounts: You must be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction) to create a parent account
• Child profiles: Children cannot create accounts independently; parents create and manage child profiles

2.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and PINs
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Supervising your children's use of the service
• Ensuring your children's quest submissions are truthful

2.3 Parental Consent

By creating child profiles, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the children and have authority to consent to their use of QuestStream. You agree to supervise your children's use of the service.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the service for any illegal or harmful activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Use automated scripts or bots to manipulate the service
• Create quests that are dangerous, illegal, or inappropriate for children
• Share account credentials with unauthorized third parties
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without permission

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

"User Content" includes quest descriptions, photos, reward definitions, and any other content you upload. You retain ownership of your User Content.

4.2 License to Us

By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing QuestStream services to you and your family.

4.3 Content Standards

User Content must not:

• Contain illegal, harmful, or offensive material
• Violate privacy rights or contain personal information of others
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
• Be sexually explicit, violent, or inappropriate for children
• Promote discrimination, hate speech, or harassment

4.4 Right to Remove Content

We reserve the right to remove or refuse any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Rights

QuestStream and all related trademarks, logos, software, designs, and content (excluding User Content) are owned by Golem15 Sp. z o.o. or our licensors. All rights reserved.

5.2 License to You

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use QuestStream for personal, non-commercial family use only. This license does not include any right to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software or content
• Use our trademarks or branding without permission
• Create derivative works based on QuestStream
• Resell or sublicense the service

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free Tier

QuestStream currently offers free access to all features. We reserve the right to introduce paid subscription plans in the future with at least 30 days' notice.

6.2 Future Paid Plans

If we introduce paid subscriptions:

• Current users will be notified at least 30 days in advance
• Free tier may continue with limited features
• Subscription fees will be clearly disclosed
• Billing will be handled through secure payment processors
• Refund policy will be specified at the time of purchase

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of the current billing period (if applicable), and your data will be retained according to our Privacy Policy.

7. Termination

7.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account in Settings or emailing us at info@golem15.com.

7.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Use
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Your account is inactive for more than 24 months
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the service (with 30 days' notice)

7.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to QuestStream will cease, and your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy (typically within 30 days). Some data may be retained for legal compliance.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 Service "As Is"

QuestStream is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8.2 No Guarantee of Availability

We do not guarantee that QuestStream will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Downtime may occur for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golem15 Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the service
• Damages resulting from User Content or third-party actions
• Damages exceeding the amount paid by you (if any) in the past 12 months

8.4 Parental Responsibility

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for supervising your children's use of QuestStream and ensuring that quests assigned are safe and appropriate. We are not liable for any harm resulting from quests created by parents.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Golem15 Sp. z o.o., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your User Content
• Your use of the service
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to first contact us at info@golem15.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

10.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.3 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of QuestStream shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Namysłów, Poland. However, you may also bring claims in your country of residence as permitted by consumer protection laws.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of QuestStream after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Miscellaneous

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Golem15 Sp. z o.o. regarding QuestStream.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
